The seven towns that make up the Greater Pittsfield Chamber of Commerce are located in the counties of Belknap, Merrimack and Strafford. We host a variety of businesses such as banking, tourism, restaurants, large and small industries. Each town supports it’s own elementary school and is served by four secondary schools.[/one_third]
Our members business’s specialize in Manufacturing, Professional Services: ranging from law to accounting, web development, real estate, insurance, automotive services, as well as retail. We are host to a number of banks, pharmacies, construction, plumbing, and electrical contractors.
The Greater Pittsfield region is popular with tourists visiting the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. The lakes are ideal for boating, fishing, swimming, and other recreational activities. We are also home to three state parks, popular for hiking, snowmobiling, camping, and swimming. Many camps are located in the area which provide camping experiences, and summer employment for local residents.
